| Saying Of The Past Weeks "..There are countless gatherings of people around the world who are meeting in buildings they call a church, singing songs they call worship, and listening to what they call preaching, but have no idea of the meaning of Salvation. I have resolved to focus more effort on this essential issue. 1. We must teach the concept of sin and that no one can be with God unless they are free of all sin. 2. We must teach that no one can be free of sin through their own effort or work. 3. We must teach that Jesus Christ - the Son of God - came to die as a sacrifice for sin for anyone who asks Him for forgiveness. 4. We must teach that the penalty for sin has been paid, but we must ask for the forgiveness offered through Jesus. This is the basic message of Salvation. We cannot add anything or take anything away. There are many things we can teach about how to live as a Christian, but we must NEVER forget the basics. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ - plus nothing! ..."
